Be sure to visit Het Zwin. It is the green nature artwork of Knokke-Heist. Historical and at the same time strikingly contemporary. The immense sandy area that is flooded by sea water every day is timelessly impressive. You learn in a very relaxed manner about a unique nature, on your own or under the wings of an experienced guide. Het Zwin changes with the seasons. In the summer, the "little zwinflower" turns the entire reserve enchantingly purple. During the winter you can get a breath of fresh air with sturdy boots and sweltering steps in the wild plain.
